I just bought a phone on ebay from hong kong. do they work in the u.s?
do they get a good reception in america or was that purchase a waste of time?

IF it is an unlocked triband or quadband gsm phone , you should be able to use any tmobile or att sim and it should work fine. If it is a dualband and only has mhz, send it back. It is useless in theUSA, we only use mhz, totally different frequencies.
